Rashell Beya is in her final year at Bristol Baptist College whilst studying for an MA. Before coming to Pill Baptist Church she has lived and worked in a variety of contexts. 

Rashell grew up in Felixstowe, Suffolk. At the age of 18, she moved to London to study clarinet at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. It was during this time she came to faith and after a couple of years freelancing, she gave up music as a career to become a pastoral assistant then later, a lay minister at an Anglican Church in North London. Theological studies in America followed before Rashell worked for the Church Mission Society as an area co-ordinator in the South West of England until the birth of her youngest daughter. A call to full time ministry came in 2008 when Rashell moved to Newbury Baptist Church where she served as Associate Minister at the same time as beginning her training at Bristol Baptist College.

Besides her passion for being involved in local church ministry, Rashell continues to enjoy a wide range of music, as well as reading, swimming,  offering hospitality and doing fun things with her family.
